The Smartwool PhD Snowboard Medium socks have a snug, supportive fit and provide enhanced boot contact for quick, comfortable carving and all day enjoyment. They feature full cushioning in the shin and calf areas that minimizes pressure from your boots, while half-cushioning underfoot improves fit and comfort. Made using Merino* wool and reinforced with stretch nylon they deliver excellent temperature and moisture control and maintain fit.Fabric:72% Merino wool/27% nylon/1% elastane. Merino Wool:Wool from Merino sheep that provides good insulation, durability, odour resistance and moisture control. It is also soft and itch-free.

Great socks for snowboarding. They are very thin so dont take up much room in the boot at all. They kept my feet warmer than some thicker bulkier socks that I've used in the past. Slight padding on the shin and calf to alleviate any pressure points.
