I felt item was overpriced,child had similar one as a present. The alternative one was less expensive and also had additional accessories. Unfortunately box was damaged in transit which is unusual but was not despatched by Amazon.

I bought this for my niece who has been coveting it; it really is just a few pieces of glittery plastic tat. I haven't unpacked it, so can't comment on how easy it is to brush the hair etc., but the styling head is much smaller than I would have expected (25cm max in height). The sum total of the accessories appears to be 1 small hairbrush, a tiny tiara on the Barbie head, 2 "silver" and 2 pink plastic hair clips, a "silver" plastic ring and a pink pair of plastic clip-on earrings (both the latter for the child to wear). I can't see how for any child, simply adding a couple of hair clips to Barbie's hair and a couple to your own hair is going to give any kind of longevity of play (especially as the clips look like they will break first time you use them). I suppose that you could plait Barbie's hair/use your own bobbles/hair bands etc., but I think that I will be sending this back rather than have my niece be disappointed with the contents.

This toy is great quality but it was smaller than I expected, bought this for my 5 year daughter for Christmas and she loves it.
