This disappointed me as it is style over substance. As a novice gardener and garden designer, I was hoping to get some tips on how to get started, how to make a garden work, and also to see lots of wonderful examples. I was also hoping it would show you how to assess your own space, to help choose what is appropriate.
There's not that many examples at all, just one of each of her "types", such as "modern", "minimalist" etc.
A bit disappointing, but I don't really regret buying it, as it is very prettily produced, and the gardens that are included are lovely.
But I'm none the wiser as to how to get started on my own garden.
The text is very general, and contains very little real information.
