I've been learning guitar from Justin, through his website and Youtube, for some years now and when he announced he would be releasing an album I felt kind of obligated to buy it. This guy has freely given so much to the world, and me personally, that he deserves some return. So I bought the album, even though I didn't expect to like it. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I normally like rocking tunes, and Justin has taught me how to play many of them, but he follows a different path with his own music. If you need a comparison then I guess Neil Young would be close but Justin is an original. The songs are meaningful and insightful without being mawkish and the quality of the production is stunning. This is a tender and beautiful album, full of feeling and humanity. Justin's skill at guitar is unquestionable but he sings well too and the other musicians involved are really excellent. The album sits together well as musical art, taking you on a journey through loss, warmth, sadness and joy, leaving you feeling uplifted. I love it.

A fantastic first album from songwriter, singer and guitarist Justin Sandercoe.

Songs vary from more wistful tracks like 'Page 99' to uplifting love songs like 'Falling Next To You'. Other tracks like 'Imperfect', have a darker feel and deeper underlying statements. But the best song for my money, is the solo acoustic guitar number 'From Katies Window'

Beautiful melodies are combined with equally beautiful lyrics, and the inclusion of somewhat unusual instruments like mandolin and the chordette give a unique feel while still being complementary to the arrangement.

With clear influences from great artists such as Crowded House, Jack Johnson, and Neil Young and echos of Tracy Chapman and Tommy Emmanuel, this is acoustic Pop/Folk at its very best.

Great mixture of different 'moods' in the songs. Couple of cracking insrtumentals too. Some peope may think it's for guitar purists only, but that's not the case. I truly think there's something here for everyone to enjoy, no matter what their musical tastes are.

Justin has given so much to so many aspiring guitarists through his web-sites and thoroughly deserves success with this venture. Buy it - you won't be sorry.
