Supreme debut album 23 Dec 2006
Format:Audio CD
Ogden's Nut Gone Flake may be the album that the Small Faces are best remembered for but this debut long player on Decca Records is awesome. This is probably the closest to what the band actually sounded like live at the time with extending jamming on some tracks and the influences such as Booker T Jones and Steve Cropper clearly evident. Superb.

BRILLIANT NOSTALGIA 25 Nov 2006
Format:Audio CD
The 40th Anniversary of this album certainly lives up to expectations although some reviews say the bonus tracks are only available on French Ep's. The French Ep's are exactly the same versions as the official UK releases. However, it is only a slight mistake. Some of the bonus tracks here actually appeared on a FRENCH LP released in the 70s. This album is well worth getting though as the sound quality is outrageously good. Not to be missed!!

Raw blues, r&b, rock and roll. Still sounds good and is not blighted by the psychedelic songs they would produce in the late sixties. A great mod album on par with the début album from The Who.
