One of the greatest writers of science fiction and fantasy in the world today, Ray Bradbury was born in Waukegan, Illinois, in 1920. He moved with his family to Los Angeles in 1934.
He has published some 500 short stories, novels, plays, scripts and poems since his first story appeared in ‘Weird Tales’ when he was twenty years old.
Ray Bradbury lives in Los Angeles.

I'd read many short stories by different authors before reading this, but this was my introduction to Ray Bradbury and it stuck out as being one of the best books I'd ever read. I'm only reviewing it because nobody else has (Seeing as I read it a few years ago) and if you're a Bradbury fan or not, you won't be dissapointed. I've since read S is for Space, Something Wicked this way Comes, The Martian Chronicles and more, but The Small Assassin, for me, is second only to the Martian Chronicles in his books of short stories (Some of his earlier short works weren't as good or polished as these). It isn't ultra poetic like S.W.T.W.C (Which I still loved) this is very easy to read, full of imagination and character while still being superbly well written.
I cannot reccomend it enough.
