I was bought this book to go with the slow cooker I got for christmas and I love it. I had no idea I could do so much with my slow cooker and Katie's recipes are not only delicious but really achievable, even for a novice like me. She has some lovely ideas and has really made me experiment. A great book for all those who are venturing into the world of slow cooking!

What a great book - I'm quite a serious cook and have had a slow cooker in the past but only really used it for stews... this book opened my eyes to the huge range of things I could do ... so dusted off the old slow cooker and haven't looked back - hot breakfasts ready on these freezing mornings, come home with 2 hungry children with 45 mins to get them in bed and there is a hot meal ready, can cope with my husbands erratic hours and can use cheaper meat which is handy right now... lovely easy recipes that really work - a dream ... thanks Katie!!

Oh my god. I am a slow cooker convert! There are so many great ideas in here and it is just so easy to do. I actually eat proper food after work all of a sudden And you simply MUST try the 24 hour lamb... even with my cookery skills it is just brillyant
