About the Author
Sunil Vijayakar was born in Bombay, where, while working as a food stylist for the film industry, he founded a successful catering company. He is now based in London and specializes in preparing food for photography. If you have a slow cooker and enjoy curries, this is the book for you. Although most of the recipes require quite a lot of preparation the end results are excellent. Plenty of different tastes with recipes from many countries.I have only cooked a few so far, but I have not been disappointed. As the curries take at least 6 hours to cook in the slow cooker it is best to go out. Smelling them cooking is so enticing you will want to eat them straight away!

My girlfriend got this book for a friend at Christmas and she absolutely loved it. We then got our very first slow cooker in the January sales. This book was first on our list. We've made some great dishes since!!

A great book for the curry loving slow-cooker owner.
I would have given it 5 stars but it lost one for the fact that many of the recipes envolve some pre-cooking of ingredients, I prefer to bung everything in and switch on, less washing up and you can do al the prep the night before.
Some of the printing is not friendly.....dark pink words on a light pink background...yuk
