I've been listening to Buddy for 40 years, he's had a chequered career with albums to match. This is one of his best, better than 'Damm right I've got the blues' with more emphasis on blues than blues-rock, a charateristic of 'Damm right'. His playing reminds me of his 60's 'Hoodoo Man Blues' album. The song material is also strong with good lyrics and catchy melodies, unusual for a blues album where rehashing of well known tunes is the norm. It's available at a knock down price now so even more of a bargain. Get it!

Buddy Guy IS blues guitar history, and he has made tons of albums, so some of them stand out. His latest 2010 offering is incredibly good. This 1994 one is a favourite of mine among many. The songs are just amazing, with "shame shame shame", and ... "man of many words" - that Bonamassa has picked up.
There is nothing much to say in this review, except this is MUST HAVE, BUY NOW.
