These are excellent if you are singing, they stop any dehydration in your throat. Suck two before a gig and things are much easier. They taste good too!

Ok, not as good as the slippery elm powder.
But very handy to take out and about.

Relief from Radiation-Caused Reduced Saliva Production 23 July 2010
By HYBS - Published on Amazon.com

My husband is 2 years post-radiation/chemotherapy for an oral cancer (Hooray for the docs, nurses, and researchers!!!).

The radiation caused permanent damage to his ability to produce saliva resulting in several discomforts, including dry mouth, so we are always looking for something that will help.

Thayer's Slippery Elm Lozenges are his favorite form of relief. He carries a supply in his pocket at all times. He likes the plain (non-flavored) because most of the dry-mouth remedies have a flavor and if you need many per day, this can become irritating. He has been very pleased with the results from these lozenges.

These are a herbal remedy, so we aren't afraid of affecting delicate tissue. They are reasonably priced. And they work!

The service when I ordered this product was excellent.

If you are an oral cancer survivor--first of all CONGRATULATIONS!--and you have dry mouth, give Thayer's lozenges a try. Good Luck!

A friend recommended these for my rather severe GERD and they really do seem to coat my esophagus. I've found them to give good relief. Great product.

Throat Soother 25 Feb. 2012
By P. Burke - Published on Amazon.com

I am a voice actress and experiencing throat problems is pretty much the thing that can take me down quickly and keep me out of work. These lozenges really seem to help keep my throat clear and in fine working condition. I like the fact they're not like every other "cough" drop you buy on the market ... sugary and slick. They're very soothing and gentle and I keep them with me at all times. I can't believe I didn't know about these long ago but am glad I do now. Will make sure I'm never without them.

Your throat will thank you 30 Dec. 2010

I used to use Slippery Elm lozenges when I was singing years ago to improve my voice. I've had a nagging dry cough (cause undiagnosed), so I thought I'd try these again, and they worked. My doctor remains skeptical, but many doctors tend to discount natural cures. I'm still trying to figure out the cause of the cough, but in the interim these lozenges definitely brought some relief. They're great for a dry throat. However, I've never had any luck using them to treat a sore throat, which some have claimed they can do.

Great natural relief of stomach troubles and sore throat. 9 May 2013

Use for upset stomach. "Slippery elm will stay on a cancerous stomach when nothing else will." I believe that. Have used slippery elm for years. You can use it a little while after losing your stomach contents. It is great for sore throat. Totally replaces tums with no chemical side effects.
