HOLY BALLS OF BURNING SALVATION! Is this the band we have been waiting for all this time? A band willing to take the reigns of the rampant stallion that is good old fashioned heavy metal?

Yes, yes it is.

The opening riff is so potent that any women too close to the speaker rush for the morning after pills, the vocals pound through the very spirit of humanity with all the vigour of a demon seeking fresh blood! And that's just the first track!

The second track continues slipping into your ears, but with a more gentle approach. It's like the EP is loving your ears, which is something few EPs manage to do. The thrusting rhythm continues and before long you realise that this band have made a very good song, solid, defined and with the kind of guitar solo that makes your knees go weak.

The third track reminds you that this band are in your head, and they intend to stay there. 'I decide how long I listen to something' you foolishly remark, but the Jettblack reply with DANGERZONE! BAM! You just got Kenny Loggins'd by Britain's best new band! They've got you jumping on the decks and shov it into over drive... HIIIIGHWAAAY TOOO THEEEE DANGERZONE! And then your knees tremble once again as an expertly delivered guitar solo touches the very depth of your soul.

Next is an acoustic track, but don't think for a second that this is some wimpy Bryan Adams love song. No, this is the kind of acoustic song that makes you wonder just what that guitarist has been eating to produce such a high level of guitar playing. And is that a bit of Paint it Black...?

But then it's over, save for the final track. A look back to simple song writing and a powerful acoustic guitar sound that caresses your ear drums and as you wait for the final notes to be plucked your finger hovers over the 'play' button, ready to do it all again, just one more time.
