Import from The Netherlands. Soundtrack: English. SUMMARY: A boy genius and his comrades travel to different parallel universes, trying to find their way back home. Quinn Mallory, while working on an anti-gravity machine, accidentally creates a portal to a parallel universe. Eventually, his friends and an unwilling participant accidentally get stuck traveling among parallel worlds, trying to survive, and learning that sliding can lead to fatal results. Meanwhile, among many changes in their group, they try to rescue the multiverse from the Kromagg Dynasty.

I really brought this boxset just to complete my collection. If you haven't yet got into Slider I would suggest getting seasons 1/2 as these were the best and is very cheap to buy from amazon currently.
Season 5 only has one of the original cast - the crying man - Remmy and Quinn Mallory is played by a completely different actor. So for this season it was heading one way, downwards, it is the worst season of sliders. Still enjoyed it though but the end still lefted alot of unanswer questions...think the producers might have been hoping for another season to be commissioned. Main reason for buying season 5 was hoping for completion of some of the story-lines, mainly those to do with the Kromaggs - this didn't happen really. Always nice to see Maggie Beckett but do prefer Wade Wells (seasons 1 - 3 of sliders)
As this boxset hasn't been released in the UK, I would suggest buying it from amazon.de as your account is still active on the german site. It worked out at costing about 25 pounds which is alot cheaper than third party sellers. The german boxset does have an English soundtrack, it's just the menu's that are all in german but doesn't take long to workout what they all mean. The german boxset also includes making of featurette which was made for the sci-fi channel...Nothing special though.

Box set just as described. Sliders season 5 is the worst season of all, but it gets better by the fourth or fifth episode of the season. For american buyers, make sure you have a region free dvd or bluray player. It will not play on standard U.S. players. Received fast responses from seller, and fast shipment. Highly recommend!!!

It's a good product. I enjoy this show.
It's a good product to buy.
But not for this much.
However, this product is very deceiving.
Well. for One I was disappointed. I thought I was getting a english/french version.
It turns out I got a very expensive imported german/english copy that I already had and could have gotten another copy of it, on the german site for way less then I paid for this import.
Not very happy.
