Introduction to Slendertone replacement gel Face pads

Face replacement gel pads known as hydrogel electrodes, are comprised of a three layer conductive medium to deliver the electrical current. This ensures comfortable, gentle and even delivery of the therapy to the correct nerve.

The pads use medical grade gel and their adhesive properties expire after some time due to exposure to air. To make your session effective and comfortable, replace the pads after 20-30 uses.

Technology

The pads deliver the signal to stimulate nerve endings that deep, comfortable muscle contractions in all the surrounding muscles, not just those directly under the pads. As a result, targeted and neighbouring muscles begin to strengthen and tone.

Pad features

  • Peel and seal within seconds
  • Recommended: 1 set of pads per week (as per 12 week trial for noticeable results)
  • Suitable for Slendertone Face for Men, Slendertone Face for Women and Slendertone Face by Philip Treacy.

Pads fold up on themselves. Thereby have to throw pads away sometimes after first use, making it an expensive product.

Sticky and hard to apply neatly. I will persevere but doubt al shall buy more. I have considered putting them in the fridge, which might make them less sticky.

I have a slendertone face and am using the gel pads. The instructions for applying them are to take off the lighter weight blue film on the back, hold them by the edge of the thicker film on the front and press onto Face gadget; leaving the top film in place and only removing to use the device. Put the thicker film pads back on top after use of the face toner after use. They won't fold up or double up if it's done this way but are very tacky, to stick to the face and need to be handled carefully. The gadget works fine and the pads are no trouble to use if applied according to the instructions.
