This is the only mattress range with SleepCurve® technology, developed by a leading Paediatric Cranial Osteopath, designed to provide the most comfortable sleep for your baby. SleepCurve® mattresses are uniquely shaped to help reduce pressure on the skull and allow the head to rotate freely; proven to be helpful in the prevention and self-correction of flat head syndrome. The patented design of SleepCurve® mattresses promotes a neutral head position which keeps airways open and the shape mimics the way a mother naturally cradles her baby in the crook of the arm, increasing baby's comfort. Especially designed channels help warm air underneath baby escape and a gentle slope from head to foot is incorporated to help reduce the problem of reflux. The mattress is sculpted to a slight concave shape which helps prevent baby’s shoulder blades splaying apart. Thought to be one reason why babies feel uncomfortable when lying on their backs.

Our baby slept on one of these from 2 weeks. I didn't put him on it straight away as I thought the curve looked a bit big for his head. With hindsight this was wrong and he was comfy on it straight away and slept really well.
The fact that it "opens up the airways" is a real plus and gave us peace of mind as well as being a benefit for our baby. I also noticed that where other babies his age were developing 'flat patches' on their heads, our son didn't. Due to the curve, you can't do 'feet to foot' blankets which was I wasn't sure about, but actually our baby was swaddled at first then in a sleeping bag when he was older so this wasn't a problem at all.
Once he'd outgrown his Moses basket, we put our son on a SleepCurve mattress in his cot and he continued to sleep really well (through the night from 10 weeks), so he must be pretty happy with his mattress. Would and have recommended SleepCurve to my friends.

We think the Sleepcurve mattress is great - thanks to the curve at the top of the mattress, not only does our baby now have a beautifully shaped head(so we've been told!!) but she seems to sleep really well on it. We also noticed a real benefit when our little one had a cold, despite being all stuffed up during the day she'd still sleep really comfortably at night - I think it has something to do with the shape of the mattress helping "open up the airways". She is now a bit older and we've moved her onto the Sleepcurve cot mattress which again we have been really impressed with. We're really pleased with our Sleepcurve purchases and would definitely recommend to other parents.

Our daughter, although normally a very happy girl, never seemed happy when we put her in her Moses Basket. Eventually we decided to try this mattress and immediately she liked it. She no longer cries when we put her to bed and sleeps much better. My only regret is not buying this sooner!

Good and bad
