A quick read with snippets of information without going into great detail. A lot of it is common sense and most of it you will already know but there's no harm to be reminded of it. I can recognise the bad habits I have developed and will prove a killer to break.

The book doesn't really give any recommendations on how to be productive or how to remain focused other than you need 8 hours of sleep.

No doubt, quality sleep is so important but you're going to need more (combination of skills, tools, cunning, and on it goes) to 'Get the Edge'. This is why I have ranked it four out of five.

I will say the topic is useful and the information is all right, but it's nothing very new or informative. It would have been nice to get into the science of sleep instead of merely being engrained with making sure we do our best to get our 8 hours. The "book" just stays on vague general terms and doesn't do much more than an oversized internet article.

Outside of the content itself, this felt more like a Kindle complimentary sampler - although with the glaring typos, I would hardly think that this is the kind of book that the publisher would best want to represent.

This a very informative little book, so don’t let the size of fool you! I learned a great many things about sleep that I didn’t know before. But what I really found to be of great value to me personally, was the fact that the book discussed, in detail, various relaxation techniques and strategies that one can begin implementing immediately. Sleep is crucial, we all know it, but few of us act like it. After reading this book, I will make a consistent habit out of setting myself up for the best possible night’s sleep as possible. If you’re experiencing the debilitating side-effects of not getting enough sleep, do get this book.
