This is an amazing album. Of particular note is the band's cover of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (Act 3?) - these 4 dudes are amazingly talented. This is apparently their second studio album but i've not heard the first.

Slave to the Sword 1 Mar. 2014
By Steve-o - Published on Amazon.com
Saw and heard this band for the first time opening for Dark Tranquillity and I knew immediately that this was a great band. The music is extreme melt your face thrash/death metal with technical guitar and uptempo riffs remenescent of testament or megadeth, but with the growling vocals to put it over the top. I don't know of anyone who wouldn't love this album unless you just don't get into the death growls, which are not as extreme as most. I was able to meet the band and did not hesitate to purchase this CD at the show, graciously with each member autographing the cover. This band has the skill and talent and stage presence to stand with any out there, even the big dawgs, I won't be surprised to see this band gains popularity with the exposure on this tour. Highly recommend this album. ok thanks. bye. Steve.

All Hail Slave to the Sword!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 Feb. 2014
By psycho3 - Published on Amazon.com
I was expecting an Amon Amarth rip off,Man was I surprised! While there are elements of AA,and maybe a bit o'Manowar, this album stands as a statement on it's own. It's the usual Vikings and Death to False Metal trappings of the genre, but is played with conviction and talent.Smoking fretwork and a strong vocal delivery, along with a killer bottom end, great songwriting too!!!There's still life in this genre HAIL!!!

On a whim, not disappointed 18 Feb. 2014

I had heard of this band's name before today, but I didn't know anything about them (still don't!). The album flashed up as a recommendation from Amazon. I liked the cover, so I checked it out using the Amazon samples (I know, I sound like I work for Amazon). I was really surprised at how tight and aggressive this band is, so I bought the mp3 album. I wouldn't say this album necessarily adds something totally unique or special to the metal genre, but it is a good representative of that sound, particularly if you lean toward bands that have songs about war and warriors. I am also glad that there is no clear singing on the album.

A word about the guitarist(s): shredders. This is guitar playing that makes your hands ache to listen to it. If you like metal with a lot of shredding, this is for you. If anything there is so much shredding it might get a bit tiresome after extended listening.

The band is not a clone of other bands, but it is pretty firmly ensconced in its genre. The songs are compelling and well executed, a good combination of technical and grooves. This album should get you pumped. There's not much about this band online, so I'm not sure where they are from, but it's not important. This is a solid entry in the metal genre, a fun listen with great musicianship.

Metal Is King! 25 July 2014

This is insane technical thrash metal at it's finest! Clean production and top notch performances across the board. If classic thrash riffs and shredding are your thing pick this up immediately! A friend of mine saw them live recently with Flotsam & Jetsam and said he was blown away! For fans of Bay Area thrash and the 80s / early 90s speed metal scene. Start a pit for this one!

Classical Music revisited 19 Mar. 2014

Metal reminds me of classical music. When I hear the guitars going up and down the scales, all I can think of is that Beethoven would enjoy this.
Great album
