Hopeless!! 7 Dec 2009
don't buy this item..........it doesn't work. I've tried to chop half an apple and then half and onion. Both times they got jammed in the blades and i had to manually pick them out.......and they were only half way sliced.....no chance of chopping!

(also you need to have quite a bit of force to get the blade through it in the first place).

Much quicker and neater with a sharp knife and chopping board.

slap not happy! 15 Jan 2010
Honestly...Dont believe the hype! The youtube clip makes it look marvellous, but it really is pants! You have to use immense force, and even then it either dioesnt cut through (apples, onions etc) or you just get sludge (tomatoes etc). You may as well just stamp on your vegetables wearing hiking boots.
And as for the 'labour saving' grater that comes 'free' (note the apostophies for free), well a normal grater is hardly a chore, and they have managed to make something extremely convoluted that, again, needs brute force.
Avoid it - a piece of plastic to put in the cupboard with the sodastream and the breville sandwhich maker!

Very Dissapointed
Arrived in perfect condition, however the product is made from cheap and nasty material. Barely stood up to 2 uses without splitting. Would definitely not buy another. Read more
