This album is absolutely stunning! The variety and originality will leave you gasping for breath, whilst the beauty of the lyrics and the dramatic flow of the music will leave you crying out for more.
Rarely do a relatively unheard of band create such skillfully crafted and passionately written songs. From start to finish, the album is a pleasure to listen to, with each song totally different to the next.
The highlight is the magnificent "Bleed" which starts off quiet and mellow and bursts into life halfway through!
Buy this album and you cannot be disappointed!

With rock albums like this around, we won't go insane after all. This album is a true masterpiece of rock music. Most of the songs start with a very mellow acoustic and suddenly hit you with a dart as they progress in to a huge jumbled session of wonderful drumming and guitar playing. The lyrics are surreal and written by vocalist Ben smith. Each song has an original air to it, though you can't help but wonder what it is all about. Midmay, the opening track starts very basically and then moves into heavy drumming. Infact tracks 1 to 8 are wonderful with 'Bleed' giving us a surprise ending we wouldn't see coming. The most amazing thing on this album is the drumming, by Christian Smith. It has such variation within each song that you can hardly keep up! Stony Sleep are fond of variation within each sonh changing pace. By the end of the album you will feel refreshed as you complete the ride that album has taken you on. The last track is different from all the rest, it being a slow piano style song. Buckle your safety belts and believe me, you won't have wasted your money.
