Brilliant, 26 Feb 2012
By Bexyus
I bought these for my bmx as it needed new grips and i wasnt prepared to pay £25 for new ones, they arrived quickly and are VERY easy to get on, if youre having trouble just pour water in while using your thumb to block the tiny hole at the end until it is filled and then release your thumb and let the water come out, they should now be lubricated enough to slide on. If you get new handlebars just dip your old ones in a cup filled with boiling water and the grips should be loose enough to slide off, if not then just repeat. They also have a great feel esp. with gloves. Just amazing.

Bar End Problem 31 Mar 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
Great grips at the price, but be warned that, as they don't come with bar ends, any rough metal will start cutting through almost immediately (it happened to mine the first day of use!). It's advisable to put old bar ends, washers or something at the ends of the tubing to reduce the chance of wear.

These handlebars are brilliant, good old-school grips and really do the business. The only problem is that they are quite hard to apply to the handlebars but a bit of hairspray will do it !
