I upgraded from a cheap refractor, wow! much wider and clearer view, very sharp images of the moon and Jupiter, I recommend getting a moon filter as it is so bright it almost blinds you! the two lenses that were supplied look and feel solid and quality, the red dot scope is great although some people don't like them, just make sure you align it during the day on a chimney or something, I've since got a collimator as the optics can move about a bit being a portable(my secondary mirror was 30 degrees out when it arrived!) and a 2x Barlow lens which gives you much better magnification options. The telescope arrived on time and was very well packaged, if you're after a first telescope, you cannot go wrong with this, it's very well received on the astronomy forums.
