Fun:
I picked this up on a whim when I got the rest of the Skylanders stuff. It just had a really cool look and thought a case would be convenient for storage when it wasn't in play.
First of all, this is a really well constructed case. It's very solid and has got a really cool look. I can see a lot of kids wanting this over the (rather lame) looking soft case. It advertises that it can hold 8 Skylanders and there are 8 wells for figures, but you can actually fit more in there.
The main problem is that it says it can hold the Portal of Power in the base if someone wants to take it to a friend's house. This is simply not true. I can see the DS version fitting in there, but the Xbox version won't. Apparently the PS3 version is wireless so it should be okay. Although the space reserved for it is large enough to accommodate the portal itself, they have made NO ROOM for the cord itself. I don't understand this at all. I even tried wrapping the cord around the portal or placing it above the portal and it's just to tight a fit. Besides, would it be convenient to have to figure out such a puzzle every time you wanted to move it - especially for a young kid?
Now, does that mean it's a bust? No, it's still a very nicely constructed case and the shorter figures and power-ups can fit in the space that was supposed to house the portal. You can sit the portal on top nicely if you're simply putting it away at home. Just don't expect to put the portal in the case itself.

Fun:
OK product but has flaws. Ideal for storing portal & some figures. Can only hold 8 figures. Some figures especially with wings or tall characters struggle to fit in door compartments. Finally, only comes with certain stckers for base so cannot put picture for any of the fully 32 figures.

My son loves it but it doesn't appear to hold all 12 of his skylanders. It's fine as a container for them just wish it held more

My son had this as a Birthday present, he loves it.
