Whether on my home course or visiting others locally or abroad the SkyCaddie is an invaluable bit of kit. Knowing your distance to the green is a fantastic aid and for those courses that have had the FULL map treatment (holevue, intellivue etc) the information to hand is very very useful. Can I carry the ditch?, will I reach the green?, should I lay up in front of the lake can all be answered quickly with a glance at the screen. I'm now playing off 19 and believe that SkyCaddie has helped me reduce from the 24 I was playing off a year ago.

Great piece of kit, bit dubious at first, now an essential item. It helps remove the doubt over club selection, particularly on a new course. Battery life ok, easy to use, miminal fiddling about on course (keeping your score as you go is optional and really easy). Played in really wet weather without problem.
Bit pricey and an extra yearly fee for downloading courses, but does help your game (you cannot always trust the 150yd markers!). Overall great, reducing the yearly fee would be good. I have to now hit the right shots!

I'm really thrilled with this gadget. Even though my home course (Elea Estates) is so new it isn't yet fully covered by the software I am finding club selection so much easier. All my playing partners have been equally delighted. Can't wait to use it next month on a course (Belfry, UK) where I will be able to explore all its capabilities.

A well made piece of kit for the golf fanatic. Easy to set up initially and easy to use on the course.
