Product Description

Product Description

Hang your herbs over your sink or dangle your orchids in your conservatory; your plants will be very happy as all they need to survive is light, water and food and don't need to be upright. Sky Planter is made from 100% recycled plastic and is a revolutionary design that hangs a wide variety of plants upside-down from your ceiling, window frame or beams, maximising room for indoor plants without losing floor space.

Product Description

Sky Planter (Small) Sky Planter is the amazing gravity-defying topsy turvy plant pot! Made from recycled plastic, it makes a quirky gardening gift for anyone who loves plants but perhaps doesn't have a garden. This stylish planter comes in 3 sizes; but this page is for the SMALL version. Measures approx 13 cm (height) x 9.5 cm (diameter). Plant not included. The question on everyone's lips is, “why doesn't the soil/water fall out?” The answer is a clever little mesh collar which can be cut to fit your plant, and a locking lid to keep it all secure! This amazing hanging plant pot saves on space as well as saving water. It features an internal reservoir which gradually feeds moisture to the roots and, unlike planting trays, it doesn’t lose any water due to evaporation from humidity. Intriguing and a fun talking point, the Sky Planter makes a kooky eco gift for any home!

I have bought two of these for my kitchen and plan on buying many more. At first i thought £13 was alot but when you take it out the packaging and look at all the bits you can see why.

I thought it would be annoying having to take them down all the time to fill them up but i've had two plants hanging up now for over 2 weeks and the meter still indicates there is water inside the pot and the top soil looks damp.

I have a long galley kitchen and most of the worktop area is taken up so these are perfect to add some greenery to the room. Different plants remove different indoor air pollutants such as Xylene and Formaldehyde (see the book 'How to Grow Fresh Air'). If you suffer from any respiratory problems like asthma it might be worth your while buying some sky planters to help improve the air quality in your home. There are lots of harmful chemicals in cleaning products etc that certain plants have been shown to remove from the environment so if you have limited worktop/floor space these are ideal.

Overall a very happy customer who will be investing in more of these well designed pots.

No water leakage and so decorative. Usually I have to water my herbs every day - not with the sky planter - it has this little green indicator that tells you when the plant needs water.

A well made product but i though this one was ceramic. Guess i should have red the description a bit more then i would have noticed it was made of plastic. Other than that it came with good instructions and everything you need to set it up e.g screws, cable

The pic looks like these are a brilliant white - however, they are not white, but an ivory cream colour. Great idea - which is why I award 3 stars, but deducting 2 stars for false pic and wrong colour.
