I am surprised nobody has reviewed this yet. Mux Mool is great! This album is great! Oh I suppose you want 'details' and 'reasons' as to why this is great.

If you have ears that work and feet that move when exposed to music, then there is a very high chance Mux Mool will do it for you.

Although I felt strongly enough to write a review for this great album, I am too lazy to actually give you a proper review.

What I will say is listen to the soundbites or just go to a certain popular video sharing website where you can hear the whole album.

Then come back here and buy it! You will thank me.

Enjoy.

F-Amazing 26 April 2010

The first reviewer on here really hit it on the head. This is a top-notch album of some really progressive / forward, nerd-core, beat-driven, eclectic, mellow, trippy, awesome, electronic music. If you like Justice, Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk, Crystal Castles, Polish Ambassador, Working Toward a Nuclear Free City, Aphex Twin, Portishead, or any other progressive / expansive music: you should like this, you should buy this, and you should tell others about it. Mux Mool is coming off the Ghostly International Label along-side Phantograms (whom you should also buy and rave about) and they have a free Ep available with some live and rare tracks. Download and ENJOY!

Knocked me outta my Cons 12 July 2010
By Dan Bergevin - Published on Amazon.com
Oh man. This electro stuff just keeps getting better. Mux Mool is here to knock it up like a pack of frustrated teenagers.

From the nu disco of Enceladus to the brain melt of Wolf Tone Symphony, you get a lot of variety and all of it will rock you hard.

As for the mediocre review posted by Clueless Reviewer #1001... I will say that I agree about one thing - that the vocal samples on Wax Rose Saturday are lame. I still don't skip the track because it's not like it's unlistenable. But you're high on glue if you think this is comparable to Flying Lotus. That's like comparing Slayer to The Grateful Dead.

Seriously, if you like this and want more of the same, go get yourself some Pantyraid, Lando Cal, Low Limit, Megasoid (Speed Knots baby!), and Lazer Sword. Pantyraid's album The Sauce is right down this same alley.

Right. So you need this. And you need the digital version so you can get all the bonus tracks. If you're gonna do this, do it right!

Very Cool 25 April 2010
By D. Inman - Published on Amazon.com
I've been waiting for an album like this for a long time. The electronic genre has needed a new group to fit somewhere between Daft Punk and Justice, and Mux Mool are just chill enough to make an album you can sit down and listen to. Skulltaste is more of an artistic electronic album than a dance album, but it's still danceable. All the sounds on this album mesh well together and each track is instantly engaging. I hope Mux Mool make it into the spotlight and become just as talked about as Justice or Basement Jaxxx. I strongly suggest that any fans of forward-thinking electronic music BUY THIS ALBUM, it's fantastic. It's about time a group like Mux Mool hit the scene.
