i bought these headphones to replace my apple ones (of which i had had to return on many occasions) and was surprised at how much better they were - the sound is alot clearer and they cancel out alot of background noise, making them pretty loud. the slider on the cable is useful as it lets you change volume without getting out your ipod. they are also pretty robust and have survived quite alot of rough usage and they still sound great. the only problem that i have with them is that if you wear them for a long period of time, they start to hurt slightly (but this only happens after a couple of hours).

ii had previously bought some expensive headphone and was not pleased as the wirinng became loose at the connecter end. I saw these and thought they looked pretty cool. I love the wire of these headphone, as they feel rubbery and are less prone to wear. They don't fall out of my ears and they have a volume control on the wires.

Although initially the sound was very good, within a few weeks the wires had started splitting and then within a couple of months one of the phones had stopped working completely.
They would be fine if you are only using them on the tube and wrapping carefully to put in the case, but if like me you use them day in day out at the gym, cycling etc then go for a more robust set.
