i got these in blue from my local hmv, for a tenner and the sound quality is amassing. but in about half a month they just stopped working. yesterday (23/04/12) one ear went today the other, so only get them if you don't mind the haste of sending them back for new ones, get them. they are great little things for listening to music on.

Good build quality, I have been using it for 2 months now. Good sound as well. It doesnt compare to the best products out there but the sound is good enough for a couple of hours of music during commute. It isolates noise well when travelling in the tube.

Bought them because I'd seen others with them and assumed they were reputable. On first listen the sound quality was poor with too much bass in the mix (I know you can adjust this in most mp3 players but I'd like my headphones to sound good flat). Having bought them on three days ago, the left bud stopped working and I expect the other to go soon. Spend a bit more money and get a good pair of headphones

I bought these earphones on impulse in a local HMV lately as a stop gap between my old (much better) pair of Sony earphones and they are OK. For a tenner I wasn't expecting all that much and they do deliver an OK sound. The bass isn't particularly powerful and the treble is rather overwhelming (particularly loud ringing symbols and distorted guitars) but if you're willing to fiddle with your EQ a bit then this issue can be addressed to a certain extent. The sound isn't exactly crisp and clear but they for a tenner they aren't bad. On the plus side they are pretty comfy (extra ear buds included if they don't agree with your ears) and in my opinion they are quite a nice looking pair of earphones, especially with the vast range of colours available. They are also very good at keeping any unwanted outside noise out.

To be honest for a tenner they're not a bad pair of earphones, but if you're willing to spend a little more (particularly if you are regularly going to be using them) I would invest in a better set of earphones with a good set of reviews. Alternatively you could try out a different pair for a tenner such as the 'JVC HAFX1X Xtreme Xplosives' or the 'Creative EP-630' which both have cracking reviews on amazon from multiple sources.

TO SUMARISE:
POSITIVES:
- Keep out outside noise.
- Comfy.
- Stylish. (In my opinion)
- Cheap.

NEGATIVES:
- Poor sound quality.
- Weak bass.
- Excessive and slightly tinny/ distorted treble.

In terms of lifespan I cannot comment as I only purchased them very recently, today in fact!

Sound quality is really poor on these buds - highs are grainy and muddy, mids are boxy undynamic and grainy as well, bass is better but a little sloppy and way too much compared to the rest of the frequency spectrum. Fits as any other earbud with similar construction. Bought them because of the price and still regret it... I've listened to both pop, metal and rock on them.

Great sound, nice design, but avoid at all cost. I'm on my second pair now(that have also just died) Eventually one of the earbuds will die on you, then both. I thought I was just unlucky first time, but second time? Looking into it, it is indeed a fault/issue. Cheap, great sound, but they will last 3 months tops. Avoid

Not happy,
I've had skull candy earphones for years with no issues, but these were majorly buzzy. I couldn't hear the music properly for the buzz..
