This item was bought as a replacement for my Sennheiser CX50 which served me well for almost 2 years. Instead fo buying the same Sennheiser again, i thought ill buy something more fancy to go with my iphone 3gs. Retrospectively i should have stuck with the Sennheiser. The Skullcandy headphones are great looking, very lightweight and have a good sound. Bass comes through quite well and sound is not tinny. Mic is very leightweight too, so the weight does not make the earbuds fall out all the time. The mic has also an accept/play button, so the music can start without you taking the mp3 player out of your pocket.
On the downside, the mic is not very good, people on the other side of the phone cannot hear me clearly. The individual earbuds are also separated by the same length of cord. This is good if you like to hide the headphones under a jacket along with your mp3 player, but not when you go running with them as one side is always very long and uncomfortable (if you are anything like me and wear your mp3 player on an armband). The cord itself is quite stiff, which makes it difficult to stash it away easily. Its always tangling up and its very difficult to untangle because of its stiffness. I would recommend these for anyone who just wants to listen to music and occasionally speak on the phone. However its not for people who want to use it for all occasions, especially running.
