First mistake, I put this through the dishwasher to make sure it was clean. It distorted the shape so, don't do this!
Other than my stupid mistake, I put it into very hot water and pressed it back into shape.......
I didn't get this to make ice cubes but, as a plaster of paris mould for a day of the dead display.
It was PERFECT.
I have used it time and time again, and it doesn't lose its clarity, shape, definition or, become hard to remove the 'cubes' from.
I KNOW it's not the job it's designed for but, this could be marketed as a high quality mould as well as an ice cube tray!

I ordered a product which is called Bone Chillers and the picture shows the logo of "Fred". What I received was, in very damaged packaging, a similar product but one that is called Ice Cannibal. There is no Fred logo, but instead some very suspicious garbled Chinese-into-English like "fathom me to your hearty curiosity". Uhm, what? I'm not even sure if the product material is safe for the intended use, product description on the packaging says "Material: TPR", so I guess I will have to Google that now.

Arrived really quickly; not exactly as described, but better. Was expecting skulls & cross bones & got quite a shock when I opened it. Actually really pleased with it. Don't know why ice pistols appeal to me so much - but why have mere ice cubes in a gin and tonic when you can have gin with guns? And ice fun with gin and guns. The ice pistols are larger than you would expect though: am considering using them for jelly molds too. Very glad I bought this product - my friends loved it too.

Yo ho, a pirate's ice for me
A must for th piratically minded, or a Hallow'een party. Sometimes a bit difficult to release the cross-bones ice part from the tray, but worth the effort when you manage it.
