t all began in 1945 when Toni Arnsteiner made the first skis in his workshop in Mittersill. A broader awareness of the Blizzard skis came in 1973 when Monika Kasererová won with these skis the giant slalom at the World Cup. The company Blizzard gained a number of awards including The Best Ski of the year in 1980 and award for the IQ system, which transforms together the ski and binding and makes the control easier.
