Bought this as a replacement as my old nappy bag's (Babba Bing Daytripper) Velcro was wearing out and the bag kept opening. I saw this and as I had the Skip Hop changing mat with wipes box bag I thought that it would be just as good.

The bag itself is quite small, though from the outside it looks quite roomy. The magnetic closer is not all that and is worse than what I had before. The bag easily opens and then things fall out. Also a mobile baby if they find the bag can empty it out (as this was the reason I was changing my original nappy bag). It is not really practical enough for what it is intended. It is FULL with a couple of nappies and wipes and one set of spare clothes. Any more than that it will not stay closed. The younger the baby the more you need, the older the baby the larger the clothes. Not sure what age baby this would be good for. I went back to using my old nappy bag and wished that I had got another one of them. I guess it is fine for a quick trip out that you do not need to take any thing but nappies with you, forget taking things like a bottle, cup, or creams ,etc. If you need anything else you can pop home. Maybe I could take out the changing mat to make more space but you should not have to do that. Maybe if the magnetic closer was stronger or a zip inside the bag more would fit inside the bag without it opening. I just fed up off getting the bag out of the boot or from under the pushchair and it emptying out or even if it fell over things would fall out.

In my opinion I wasted my money on this. I would not recommend this bag.

A fantastic bag. Clips on to any pushchair or pram so that the bag is not hanging down and getting in the way of the wheels which is unique to this bag. A good buy.

Really like this bag. It is a bit on the small side, so good for a short outing where you only need a couple of nappies and a change of clothes.

This bag has been a great disappointment to me and my family. It is very small and although it has many compartments, they are too small for anything practical and we just don't use them at all. The center compartment might be good if you go out for a couple of hours walk (although, going out for a couple of hours means you don't need a bag at all), but if you would like to make longer journeys, it's just not big enough. We put in a couple of nappies, milk and spare clothes and it's totally full. I always wish they just didn't put in so many small silly pockets so there would be more space in the center. Obviously a person designing this bag either doesn't have a kid or uses a different bag. And the small changing mattress is just a laugh! They could have well skipped it. I don't see a way of using it. We had used a very simple rag-like bag before and having not paid so much for this one, we would probably just go back to the old one. The worst thing of all is a very strange, stupid, a pound coin size magnet that should hold the bag closed when full. Of course, as the bag is so small, when you pack it, everything keeps falling out as the magnet doesn't keep it closed. I can't even imagine how could someone think it would hold. Oh, I just wish I could return it.

HASH(0x9295b9d8) out of 5 stars I love this! 7 April 2008

This bag is great! I got it for christmas and am very pleased. I don't feel it is "babyish" like alot of other bags. It is very stylish for me and my husband. The changing pad is great. It has so much room I don't think I could fill it up if I tried. It also has an anti-microbial lined pocket which is great for soiled clothes and dirty diapers. I haven't used my regular purse since I had my son. There's plenty of room for my cell, wallet, keys, make-up and two pockets for his bottles inside and pockets on the outside for water bottles. Great buy!

HASH(0x9391a954) out of 5 stars Stylish, but not practical for new baby 3 Jun. 2010

This bag would be great if the body of the bag expanded. As it is, once you fill up a few pockets, you aren't able to put anything else in the bag unless you crammed it all in, in which case 1) the flap won't close and 2) you'd have to dump the contents of the bag to get to anything. The side pockets for the bottles were nice, but the front flap pockets were basically useless unless you stored small, flat items into it. I think my iPhone fit into the slot, but not my keys. The back zippered pocket above the slot for the changing pad fit a couple of diapers. The main compartment of the bag has elasticized pockets lining the sides, but once you filled two of the pockets, your space was pretty much maxed out. We chose this bag because it was sleek and didn't scream "diaper bag", but found it unusable for a newborn baby and ended up having to find another bag that would work out better. The built-in stroller clips were a nice touch though, that was my favorite feature. We're currently using a backpack and are still searching for a good diaper bag.

My mom bought me an expensive Vera Bradley diaper bag which only had a few pockets and all my stuff was in a jumble all over the inside. Plus there was no space for my things, only my son's. As you soon find out, you can't carry a purse and a diaper bag, so you have to have one that does both. I ordered this one because it had the most pockets I could find in a diaper bag. It rocks and my stuff is still organized after 4 months. I take this everywhere with me. The inside has great spots for a backup bottle, my stuff is on the outside, and I even have a coupon pocket for the store. This also hangs nicely on the stroller and I have found a million uses for the two outside side mesh pockets, everything from my son's bottle to water to my sunglasses and keys. I know it is a lot of money for a bag, but you won't ever need another one because it is durable and I would carry it for an ordinary bag after I don't need diapers anymore.

HASH(0x92f0e450) out of 5 stars Great compact bag for moms and dads 4 Sept. 2012

I looked at several Skip Hop diaper bags but ended up getting the messenger bag. Here are my reasons for choosing this over other diaper bags:

1. I liked some of the other more purse-like diaper bags but knew I would have a hard time getting my husband to carry them. This messenger bag is cute and yet masculine.
2. Some of the other diaper bags were bigger but I wanted something a little more compact. That being said, this diaper bag will fit essentials for a day out (diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, extra outfit, water bottle, etc.) but you will not be able to carry a lot of extra things around with you. I did not want a huge diaper bag because I knew I would fill it and then have to lug it around.
3. It has a number of zippered pouches which will securely hold my phone, wallet, keys.
4. The pouches on the sides of the bags have draw-cords on them which allows for a more secure fit for water bottles or bottles.

So far, I am really happy with my choice and I recommend it if you are in need of a diaper bag for small outings.

Pockets threading came undone after 3 months!! It was a baby shower gift so I couldn't take it back to a store. Skip Hop would not replace or even get back to me. I emailed, called and left messages via Facebook. Terrible costumer service. Don't waste your $80. Even before it came undone nothing fit in there. Looks great from the outside, but nothing else makes it worthy of purchasing.
