This is a great, no-nonsense book, and it is so very true. I used to walk up to 2 hours per day while living abroad and felt so healthy, but since returning home my routine changed and my weight increased. So for those of you starting out on a healthier walking way to fitness I thoroughly recommend it. No diets needed, although of course you do need to cut out some of the calories, but you don't have to be strict. Read the book and it will make sense, and it will make you want to get up off the settee and get out there, it's so simple!!

Does what it says on the tin. Simplistic and bound to work if you stick to it. Liked that this book was easy to read and straight to the point. No scientific mumbo jumbo that makes reading a bore. Can't wait to get started.

I don't know if this program will actually help me as I used to walk for an hour a day and I have an active job but then I don't think I ever consistently cut my calorie intake at the same time. After reading this book I feel motivated to try again although I know the food side will still be a bit of a struggle as I don't have a "one food" I can cut out, I don't drink sodas or eat chips or crisps but I'm willing to give it a go, maybe in combination with the 5:2 way of eating. This book has actually made me feel quite excited about restarting my walking. Here's to an improved me!

Incorporated the walking to my days where I cannot get to the gym or have a tight schedule to fit in some quick exercise.

This book also goes through the diseases affected by weight! so if you need some convincing to do something, this is it! There are health issues that you need to be aware of because of weight and how you could reduce your weight with the help of the contents in this book.

I would recommend this to those looking to lose weight without dieting and wanting to eat your favourite foods, however you do need to put the work in!

I really enjoyed this book. I was looking for a way to get more active and this is really a great book with good ideas to do just that. I'm not overweight, but I know that as I get older I need to be more active and this offers great ways to do that and not have to be a marathon runner. Reccommend highly!

While there is nothing particularly new in this short fitness book if you follow the guidelines it will change and possibly even save your life. I am 3 weeks into walking and I'm loving it. I've lost 5lbs my depression has all but gone and my dogs are so well behaved. Well done Katy Roberts

Katy writes in a friendly style and gives good advice about finding an hour in your day, clothing, safety etc but there isn't an actual plan its just walk for an hour every day padded out... A bit disappointing but then if I just get out for an hour walk every day I would see results...
