About the Author

I’m a full-time Paralegal by profession and when not working or volunteering I’m writing. I am one of six children and am blessed to have a twin sister. She and I work for the same agency, in the same office, and are inseparable…my poor husband! I’m married and have a step-son who adores my sister. We also have two dogs, one black lab and one yellow (Zena and Jimmy) I did NOT name the dogs. I’m a huge fan of MMA, boxing, hockey, 30 Seconds to Mars, the Killers, and DMX. I also love to read because it encourages me to write. ( I always hate it when authors add that they love coffee and chocolate. Really?! Who doesn’t love coffee and chocolate?) Anyway, I love beer…kidding. I don’t love beer, but we are engaged in a very serious relationship. (Mom, please don’t call me when you read this.) Please visit me at SusanBliler.com for exclusive excerpts of soon to be released works. Also, please leave feedback. Believe it or not I actually read your opinions/suggestions and try to adapt my work accordingly. ps: I have the best fans in the world! This was a good story but I did find the 'hero' Leto a bit of a violent woman hater.
I read all the reviews before I bought the book and thought maybe the other reviewers were exaggerating the way he is portrayed but only to find they weren't, he was a bully and an abuser.
If any of my friends or family met a man like this I would be telling them to head for the hills and don't look back.Or as we say in Ireland 'Give him the road'.
I can't give this story a higher rating because even though it is well written and the plot is good, he, Leto, comes across as an abuser.
We never even get the chance to see does he make retribution for how unfairly he treated Sky.
The author would be well advised to remember that although her readers like 'Alfa He Men' we do draw a line at abuse, be it verbal, mental or actual physical.

There are many romance stories that revolve around predestined partners and alpha males but this was a very unromantic biological imperative with a slow painful death as the implied result of non fulfillment. Though given what domineering, inflexible, jealous, unappealing characters these males are I think I'd rather let them suffer than be stuck with one of them for life as the rather pathetic heroine of this story was. Jealousy is NOT romantic. Domination and NO choice is not romantic (if you CHOOSE domination, that's a different matter)

After the drought comes storm. After spending best part of two years reading all sorts of badly written rubbish where the story could be told in two pages if all of the gratuitous sex was removed, I have recently found a few good authors and this one rates tops.

I love the concept of skin walkers who can shift into multiple forms. This story is well written and really held my attention. I hope there will be many more skin walker stories to come.

I really enjoyed this book. the two main characters were great. The only thing I would have changed was perhaps a bit more on the two characters themselves once Leto realised that he had been wrong about her. I also found some bits a bit violent but the story and plot were really good. good strong alpha male portrayal, original storyline and good sex. can't wait for her next one.

Okay but nothing spectacular.

Yes the 'hero' is a jealous, overly possessive alpha who is at some times sweet but other times makes you want to bust his chops and if this were a human relationship we'd be screaming for Shy to go to a womens shelter. However it is formulaic so we know he is a good guy even if it is burried deep down.

Quite good but I like a bit more texture to my stories and there wasn't much chemistry between our leads.

The numerous grammatical errors grew irritating quickly though.

Let down by poor grammar which detracted from the story. I will read other books by Susan Biller in the hope that this failing is a one of.
