This book is the best beauty book I have ever come across. The book is beautifully illustrated, with many pictures and illustrations on every page. It is the only 'beauty' book I've come across that gives honest, practical and uncomplicated advise. Liz's approach to looking after your skin is simple, realistic and achievable. She doesn't suggest complicated skin care routines, dynamic exercise routines we will never stick to, or suggesting we radically change our diet and lifestyle. Instead, Liz recommends what to include - and what to leave out - to make a difference not only to the appearance of our skin, but maybe our health too. It's divided into chapters for each skin type, each age group, what effects skin (such as the sun and the foods we eat) oils and herbs that can be beneficial to the appearance of our skin and recipes and exercise that can be easily followed and only take a few minutes of your time. All chapters are clearly written, beautifully illustrated with photographs and illustrations and advice is easy to follow. It's wonderful book to buy for yourself (I have already read my copy several times!) and it would be a wonderful present to give any person of any age or gender with any skin type as a gift. If you enjoy looking after your skin, if you are at all concerned about your skin and it's condition (even what you are putting onto it or into your body!) this is certainly, absolutely, definately recommended.
