Important aspects of managing your money and healthy living are also covered and prompts to learner to ask 'Where do I go from here?' as they look to other development opportunities. Each chapter details the learning outcomes and relevance to other qualifications linked to the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF). At the end of each topic, there will be a series of short practical activities for self assessment for learners to see how far they have 'travelled' in gaining knowledge and understanding. About the Author

Rosalie Marsh is a native of Lancashire with Irish roots Today she lives in North Wales where she settled with her husband and growing family. She has written many academic, vocational, technical and research materials in her long and varied career in banking, sales management, and further education. It was during this latter period that she gained a BA (Hons) Education Degree from the Manchester Metropolitan University. Marsh retired to concentrate on her writing. Her first book Just Us Two:Ned and Rosie's Gold Wing Discovery,Winner in the 2010 International Book Awards (Travel: Recreational category),was also a UK best seller and finalist in the USA Book News 2009 Best Books Awards. Her Lifelong Learning: Personal Effectiveness Guides, build on her wide experience in the workplace along with adult and further education in the field of work-based learning. Marsh embraces new technologies and digital solutions. Her books therefore are always available in print and e-book formats. She says: "In the midst of 'pots and pans' I often dreamed of writing as many story lines 'popped-up' in my head with my wide range of activities providing me with a rich seam of story-lines! During our first Gold Wing experience in Ireland,I found that the words flowed when recording our profound emotional experiences and realised that I had the beginnings of a story.(These notes lay in a drawer for ten years.) Eventually, after overcoming disaster and changing lives, I concluded that our years of discovery, travelling on our own - 'Just Us Two' - in Europe, formed an inspiring story of adventure, fun and a realisation of dreams. My abiding ethos is that all should be able to develop and achieve their potential as a 'whole' person. This is the focus of a new series of Lifelong Learning:Personal Effectiveness Guides published in 2011." Marsh writes under a pen name.
