Skechers Women's Shape Ups Action Packed Trainer

I ordered these with some trepidation as I am always looking for the most comfortable shoe ever! The good news is I think I've found it!!! I've had little success with buying shoes online as they are always too narrow/too stiff/too sloppy and this is the first pair I've ordered from Amazon. Not only were they really quick in arriving but as soon as I put them on I knew they would be great to wear. I am a 5 to 5 and a half and ordered a size 5 and they are just right with enough space in them not to feel cramped. The colour is really smart and the addition of another pair of contrasting laces is an added extra. I've been walking around in them now for about an hour and I can feel the muscles in my legs starting to stretch - although I must admit they really will be miracle shoes if they help me to lose weight!!!!!! The sponginess of the soles really supports the instep and takes up the shock of hard ground - a bonus if you've got a bad back. I can really recommend these shoes and am already thinking about another pair in a completely different style. Although they might appear expensive it's worth every penny just to have complete comfort.

First of all, let me say that I ordered these fantastic shoes about six weeks ago and waited to try them before reviewing them.

I am a high heels kind of girl and I think that the last time I wore trainers was more then ten years ago at school, so I cannot really compare this pair with other trainers. I can however compare this with all the other shoes I wore in my life and these little trainers are by far the most comfortable.

They are more then comfortable shoes, wearing them is like floating in the air; I love to walk and now I can walk really long distances without getting tired. I have a small problem with scoliosis and I experience terrible pain on my back whenever I walk for a long time, but now with these great shoes my back pain is gone, which I think is amazing. Also I tend to slouch and even years of ballet and very strict dance instructors failed to completely correct my posture. Somehow, in a miraculous way, wearing these shoes forces the body to stand straight, so these shoes succeeded where my old days of ballet lessons failed.

The product description claims that with these "Shape Ups, you can change your fitness without setting foot in a gym". Well, perhaps wearing them wasn't such a radical change, but I immediately felt my muscles starting to stretch and now after six weeks, I actually feel a little more fit. I don't know if this is because the shoes simulate walking barefoot on sand, or simply because they make walking easier and more fun, but the result is great. Also the shoes come with a DVD with two fantastic workouts; one fifteen minute workout with simple and effective exercises and one thirty minute workout for a longer exercise; both have excellent instructions even for beginners and are extremely fun to do.

And now the big question; do they really help people loose weight? Only if you say a weight loss spell, make a portion and then fly your broom to the moon wearing them! Sorry, I was just kidding, lets be honest, they are great shoes but they are not magic shoes. They make walking easier, exercising more fun and effective and spending the money to get them might encourage people to get off the sofa and exercise a bit, so yes all that can help to lose weight, but just wearing them won't turn anyone to a skinny supermodel.

Apart from the DVD, the shoes come with an extra pair of laces in a fantastic pink colour, which was a good addition. They are pretty trainers, of course as they are not my usual elegant stilettos, wearing them I feel like Dr Jekyll with the feet of Mr Hyde, but that is just because I am not used to athletic shoes. I intend to get another pair of shape ups that looks more girly and smart; they are so many to choose from.

In total, a very comfortable pair of shoes, that makes walking and exercising easier and fun and my dog a lot happier as he wont have to walk his high heel foot human anymore. I even think that he doesn't consider my so silly and impractical now, with these shoes.

I'd read a lot of reviews about the Skechers Shape Ups. I've been a big fan of Skechers for a long time now and decided to try the Shape Ups.

They were very comfortable from the first time I wore them and didn't rub at all. They were quite a snug fit at first and have loosened up a little bit after a few weeks of wearing them out and about.

I've definitely noticed a difference in the way I walk and after a day of walking in the Shape Ups, my legs noticed the burn in my legs the following day!

I'm not sure if all the claims made about the Skechers are accurate - I'd probably have to wear them for a few months to see a real difference.

The Shape Ups come with a DVD with a couple of exercise routines designed to make best use of them without having to leave your house! Makes a change for a normal exercise DVD!
