I have only had this a day, and I already love it. I much prefer the look of a metal strap as opposed to a conventional leather or fabric strap, but as I have very slim wrists I have terrible trouble finding one that will fit me. Either they won't adjust small enough or, as is the case with the usual fold-over clasp/bracelet that is so prevalent on men's watches, if I am able to adjust them small enough, usually by removing several links, then they won't fit over my hand.

No such trouble with this watch. There is a huge range of size adjustment due to the strap and clasp adjustment design, and being an open strap there is no issue with getting it over my hand. The clasp has a double action so there is no risk of it coming open by accident. You have to open two clips which fold over each other, AND then unhook it to open it. But it is not fiddly either, it is very easy to put on and take off.

The watch is very light and although the face is quite large, the case is beautifully slim so it does not look at all chunky, and the deep blue colour really adds a touch of restrained but stylish pizzazz. As others have said, the stock photos really don't do it justice. It is definitely a matt rather than shiny finish, but it has a really attractive sheen and lustre to the finish which just does not come across at all in the picture. It certainly feels like a quality piece of kit worth much more than the price here. I am very pleased with it.

Update after 4 months: No problems whatsoever, a couple of accidental knocks which had me cringing have not marked it at all, still as pleased with it as the day it arrived.

Update after just over 2 years: Just had to replace the battery for the first time. Watch is still worn every day, still unmarked, and keeping perfect time (apart from when it stopped due to battery!), I only ever have to adjust it for the clock changes. Still very pleased.

I received the watch a few days ago, and so far, I give it a score of 10 out of 10. The photograph doesn't do it much justice. For one, the colour portrayed doesn't quite match the real stuff: the dial's of a darker blue as compared to the images, yet it reflects light in a beautiful manner; regarding the case, it's extremely thin, and the titanium case -with a very nice matte finish- is of a lead-like shade of grey that somehow matches the slightly shiny bandwrist. For those of us who can't suffer the loud ticking noise of some watches, the Skagen machinery is as silent as one could hope for. In addition, it feels so comfortable that one barely notices wearing it, and the band can easily be adjusted by oneself so that it fits perfectly, whatever the size of one's wrist. I've got MUCH more expensive watches that don't look (or feel) half as good as this one. Nice purchase indeed.

I have to say I love this watch and it was one of my best buys so far!

Stylish design, smooth finish and a slightly higher level of appearance than what the price would actually suggest.
I like the minimalistic appearance of it. Very simple, yet elegant.

Don't expect high precision clockwork though.
You get what you pay for which is good quality but not superior.

What isn't pointed out in the product's description:
the band of the watch has a minimum arc you can bend it!
So for a too small wrist while you can adjust the length of the band and it will fit you but you will have a small gap between the band and your wrist just where the band is attached to the watch housing.
This is due to the fact that a metal mesh band can be bended only to a maximum arc due to its nature (like you can't fold them as much as a leather or resin band).

This isn't pointed but can be expected by somebody who is more experienced with watches.

Anyway I was lucky because though I have a relatively small wrist, this watch still fits me almost perfectly (if my wrist would be a just a bit bigger it would fit perfectly).

My wrist diameter is:
172 mm which is 17.2 cm
6.77 inches.

Overall this watch gets 4 star from me. But in it's price range it's a 5 star watch.

When I saw this watch in a large dept store, I immediately fell for it and purchased it through Amazon. It looks great with the blue dial and the stainless steel mesh strap is very comfortable on my wrist. Adjustments to the strap are easy and the locking system is verey secure. It is not bulky like other fashion watches at present and doesn't get caught on your shirt cuffs as it is very slim.
Overall this is a great watch and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Bought a Skagen watch about a year or so ago and when battery needed replacing I took it to a Skagen retailer. Even though they had a window full of these watches they told me they didn't replace batteries as the back of the case was almost impossible to remove and worse to replace. Took it to an independant watch retailer who struggled to get the back off and then couldn't get it back on. Had to leave it with them and eventually they managed the job. I called Skagen in Kent(Skagen Gents Titanium Watch - 233XLTTN?)and they said yes they are very difficult and suggested sending the watch to them when battery needed replacing. Does anyone really want to post a watch by insured post etc. etc.?
