Product Description

The first episodes from five classic British sit-coms of the 1970s and 80s. 'Bless This House - Day of Rest' (1971) sees the Abbott family getting into a bit of bother when young Mike Abbott's latest sculpture upsets the new neighbours. 'Man About the House - Three's A Crowd' (1973) sees Chrissie and Jo wanting a new female flatmate and getting Robin (Richard O'Sullivan) instead. But in thoses days of long hair for all, who can tell the difference? 'Father Dear Father - This is Your Wife' (1970) introduces the Glover family: novellist Patrick, his two teenage daughters, his mother, his ex-wife and Nanny. In the spin-off from 'Man About the House' 'George and Mildred - 'Moving On' (1976) sees the Ropers moving up to a middle-class suburb where Midred is keen to impress the neighbours but George couldn't care less. Finally 'Never the Twain - Families at War' (1981) sees the two arch rival antique dealers find that a family crisis birngs them together.

This dvd showed the first episode of 5 classic comedies,they gave me a reminder of how funny some of them were. So then it made me buy 2 of them in full series.

A good mixture of classic comedy however is not as states says first episode of each comedy this is incorrect of bless this house and father dear father where is the first color episodes but still brilliant
