I use to have this album in the 80's until somebody borrowed it and it never came home. Its good to see it being re released as a Cd. Stepaside were a good Lively band, the songs a catchy rock blend and like many homespun bands of the eighties they did'nt get the break they deserved. Buy it and sit down & relapse into some fine music.
Paul Ashford the lead vocalist passed away suddenly last Sunday 9/1/2011 leaving us without another fine and talented musician, not long after that other great "Gerry Rafferty"

Outstanding album from one of Ireland's best ever Rock Bands.Classic original songs from Stepaside include "Always Loved You" and the title track!Hear they have reformed and are back on the road with new album.Playing on regular basis at The excellent Purty Kitchen in Dun Laoghaire,Kiely's Mt Merrion and Stillorgan Orchard I remember them packing out the Baggot Inn,Sportsman's Inn in Dublin and The Marquee in London! Other original songs Last Resort,Zelda and Yellow Chair were anthems in the 80s and for me like tis album are timeless!

In the late Seventies and eighties I regularly went to see many bands playing in Dublin pubs. Stepaside were one such band.

This album brings back memories of my teenage years and my early twenties.

The music captivates throughout and reminds one that this band should have made in bigger than they did.

I highly recommend this album and would particularly recommend one track - The Last Resort- although the whole lot work for me.
