Review

Praise for Primula Bond:

“explicit and remarkable…tremendously well written…a winner.” ETO on ‘Behind the Curtain’

Product Description

Discover a multitude of sins. ‘Sisters in Sin’ is an intensely kinky erotica novella perfect for anyone lusting after much more than ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.

Jennifer Coombes is lost in Venice. She befriends a young nun, Natalia and soon discovers the dark and mysterious goings on behind the crumbling walls of Santa Maria Convent; arousing punishments and sisterly sensuality in a silent, candle-lit world.

More About the Author

I am an Oxford educated married mother of three boys and have worked variously as a London temp, a kindergarten teacher in Cairo, and a legal secretary. My part time day job is working for criminal lawyers and sometimes going to the law courts to take notes for the barristers during a case. I also take in foreign students to feed my addiction for nice cars, sumptious meals out and sun-drenched holidays. As you can imagine, the law courts, foreign students, living in Cairo and most other experiences in my life provide a rich fodder for my novels.
I write newspaper features and am still struggling to get something 'literary' published, but I started writing erotica as a kind of challenge when I was once rejected by Mills and Boon for being too sexy! Since my first story, Man In A Cage, was published by For Women magazine back in 1995 I have lost count of the number of short stories I have written for magazines and for Virgin Books, but I never run out of ideas. I have also written three novels and my solo author collection of short stories 'Random Acts of Lust' has just come out published by Xcite Books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Secretive sex in a Venetian convent 28 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Always enjoy a novel set in Venice and this one probes all those dark alleys and mysterious nooks and crannies, fulfilling every fantasy you might have had about what nuns get up to behind closed doors. Primula Bond has a way with words that conjures up smells, tastes, senses and she isn't afraid to be pretty damn shocking, too, which is what you want in an erotic author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Confusing, but enticing 13 Aug 2012
By Niall
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Sisters in Sin is a story with a neat little twist at the end and with a lot of naughty nuns to get through on the way there. The writing is good, the sex scenes are not particularly explicit, but well written. I'm not a great fan of waterworks, which cropped up a couple of times, but I'm broad minded enough to let myself be swept along with the story.

The plot starts out simply enough and then takes a jump straight off a cliff. I would spoil the surprise at the end if I went into this in too much detail, but suffice it to say that when I looked up from the description of what was happening and took a look at the bigger picture I sat back and wondered how someone could have come up with such an outlandish plot. The reason for the incongruous behaviour and the nature of the convent are all resolved in the last couple of pages. I couldn't detect any clues in the preceding text; but that might be down to me being clueless.

Either way, an enjoyable read, as long as you don't think about it too much.

5.0 out of 5 stars Santa Maria Convent is sinfully hot 18 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Just spent a thoroughly enjoyable Sunday afternoon immersed in Primula Bond's tales of 'Sisters in Sin'. I didn't know what to expect from this book, as it wasn't recommended to me, and I wasn't familiar with Primula's work before. I pretty much picked this book out of a hat...and I'm so glad I did! Those of you who've read The Harward Girls will know that I'm a sucker for a story that revolves around a highly conservative institution, which then falls victim to the most deliciously depraved acts of lust. Something about the corruption of the the sanctified (and the sanctimonious) along with the toppling of authority gets me ridiculously hot. And Primula's Santa Maria Convent doesn't disappoint, delivering corruption and depravity by the bucket load! But what makes 'Sisters in Sin' such a joy to read is that it's so cleverly put together. At it's heart, it is really a tale of unrequited love, wonderfully woven into a fabric BDSM, corporal correction, orgiastic celebration, and the most celestial orgasms.

The story is set in Venice, which is place that it is very close to my heart. Indeed, the inspiration for 'The Harward Girls' also came from there. It must be something about La Serenissima that fills the mind with visions of beauty and turmoil, longing and lust. Ms. Bond's descriptions of Venice are both realistic and magical at the same time, and she takes us through a city that is as modern as it is classic, and as urban as it is mythic.

There's a couple of points where Sisters loses just a little bit of ground, but they really are minor. There are just a few plot turns that seem a little too quick and convenient, and a little bit rushed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sisters In Sin - Great Erotica 11 Jun 2012
By Maxine Marsh - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I was not sure what to think going into Sisters in Sin, but was pulled right in from the initial voyeuristic moment. This is the story of a woman visiting Italy, whose close encounter with a nun and the nun's secret lover gets her thrown into a convent full of some very naughty nuns! No worries if you're not into f/f sex, there's plenty of whippings, voyeurism, self-pleasuring, m/f, f/f/m and orgy sex to go around. The sex scenes were plentiful, descriptive and extremely arousing, no matter what the combination, and the ending was a surprise. Highly recommended!!!
