absorbing and intriguing 10 Nov 2005
By E. M. Bristol - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
In this anthology, women writers examine their relationship to their sisters. Lucy Grealy writes about her twin sister and why she does not mention her much in her memoir. Bonnie Friedman writes about her perplexing relationship with her older, eccentric sister. There are mentally ill sisters, physically ill sisters, illegitimate sisters, and the tones are by turns, admiring, exasperated, loving and distant. The writers use both fiction and nonfiction in this thought-provoking collection.
