Product Description

It's two years after the events of Girl, Missing and life is not getting any easier for sixteen-year-old Lauren, as exam pressure and a recent family tragedy take their toll. Lauren's birth mother takes Lauren and her two sisters on holiday in the hope that some time together will help, but a few days into the holiday one of the sisters disappears, under circumstances very similar to those in which Lauren was taken years before. Can Lauren save her sister, and stop the nightmare happening all over again?

Brilliant sequel! 18 Sep 2011
By Cerys93
Format:Hardcover
This book has so many shocks, twists and turns it makes it impossible to put down!
When I was reading and got called to dinner, I was itching to run back upstairs and finish it, so I shovelled my food down as quickly as I could.

There was a shock on the first page that made me instantly curious, I didn't even know wether to believe it, because it was so out of the blue, so just one page in and I was hooked!

Lauren's sister goes missing within the first few chapters, so the book is full panic and it's an instant race against time to try and save her as Lauren tries to work out if she knows the kidnappers and tries to work out if Jam really likes her anymore.

Every few chapters there is a new twist that changes the whole story, so the story progresses with new characters, old characters and a lot of secrets going around.

I even cried at the end!

Overall, I thought this was an excellent sequel, and of course Sophie Mckenzie's writing is really great, I was pleased with this book :)

Mixed 5 Jan 2012
By C.M
Format:Hardcover
I loved Girl, Missing so was really looking forward to the sequel and while its just as action packed and I read it in a couple of hours, but too much was going on all of which was so unlikely, beyond the level for fiction that I could accept. And with so much going one and leading together ends were left and plots randomly dropped and picked up - it was just confusing. My biggest disappointment was the rushed ending; it didn't seem to end the novel or the story-lines.

While I did read the original 4 years ago I struggled to connect with Lauren in this one and sometimes found her rude and uncaring which didn't help.

Its a book that tired to live up the first but tired to hard and put far to much in, so missed it. I would suggest that younger readers may enjoy it better though - 11-14 years maybe.

It's good... But 14 Dec 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I first read Girl, Missing about 5 years ago, loved it and bought every other Sophie McKenzie book out there, and naturally I was thrilled to hear that there was going to be a sequal. I read sister, missing in a day, it was enjoyable and page turning however, I felt that it was too young for me, it was written for the girl I was 5 years ago, not who I am today. So if, like me you read Girl, Missing a long while ago and was interested in the sequal I wouldn't recommend it, but if you read Girl, Missing yesterday and was wondering if you should buy the sequal then go for it! I did enjoy it, the story line was good, and very fast-paced! A good holiday read, especially if you read them both, one after another!
