A GEM 26 Mar 1998

We all know these characters and that's what makes it so realistic. Eric must be some brother to be able to jump into the ethnic women's sole -- I mean he hits the attitude, head turning, hand waving and finger snapping girlfriend every time. I loved this book and got totally involved with every character. This is a must read! I also just finished his latest book Friends and Lovers and Chiquita makes a cameo appearance again. You'll love the new book as well, perhaps even more. I love to read and many books were beginning to read the same, however, Eric holds his own -- he is definitely someone to keep watching for.

I found this book quite enjoyable but not quite as gripping as I would have liked. The girls reactions to situations were not always idealistic but more realistic. Very funny in parts however felt the story fell abit flat at the end. However a book worth reading
