SLIMLINE lunch box 13 May 2010
I'm delighted with this box. The seller information gives the measurements of the box and explains that the Slimline version has a shallower lower tray than the regular version which makes perfect sense to me. It's not useful to give a poor review on the basis that you've chosen a slimline box and then found it's too small!

I wanted it for either ready made sandwiches (bottom layer holds them comfortably) or for bread and separate sandwich fillings (top compartments are ideal for this). The bottom layer is amply big enough for a rice or couscous dish. I have never used the bottle provided with the box.

I have had no problem with the quality either. Treated even with reasonable care, the box, especially for the price, is in my opinion good value for money, well sized, easy to clean and suitable for the purpose.

I bought another virtually identical design of box by another manufacturer from an Auction site recently which even at twice the price of this one, had a lower compartment half the size of this box. It was heavy, difficult to clean with tiny upper compartments unable to house an egg and unsuitably sized for anything but chopped food and vegetables. I'd rather have the Sistema any day.

Great lunchbox 3 Jun 2011
I bought 2 of these for my daughters school lunch boxes and they are great. Being girls they love the colour and I love them because you can get all the lunch in one box i.e. drink, sandwich, cake, grapes etc without all getting mixed up together.
You can easily get a normal size sandwich in the bottom compartment made with sliced bread, a fresh uncut bread sandwich would probably not fit. I don't use the drinks bottle that comes with it because my daughters prefer cartons of juice which easily fit in, but it is a nice size bottle.
You wouldn't be able to put liquid in any of the compartments as obviously it would leak, but they are ideal for pasta, chopped veg and salad, smallish fruit like satsumas, grapes, strawberries etc

I would definately recommend very highly !

Pink lunch box 2 Aug 2011
By Stacey
The compartments are great for keeping certain foods seperate and fits nicely in my work handbag. The only negative I have with the product is that if you put something liquid inside it for example: salad dressing it will leak if it gets tipped up the wrong way.

Nice, hygienic but not durable- my daughter dropped it accidently at school and the plastic hinge on the side has broken due to this, a bit of a shame really
