I have to travel to client offices for meetings on a daily basis therefore needed a robust and decent looking lunchbox.
This box is a pretty good in all aspects - robust, looks nice and clean, compartments are of a good size, drinks bottle is great and fits neatly into one of the compartments (this compartment can be used or more food.

I read on one of the reviews that thebottle was not included - my lunchbox did come with a bottle.

I wasnt sure about the compartment sizes on this box as other reviews had commented that the smaller compartments were too small. I found them ok. The smaller ones fit grapes, straweberrys, small biscuits. If buying for kids and you want to make lunches interesting I can imagine you could run out of ideas.

The main compartment is deep enough to fit a deep sandwich or a couple of rolls without squashing it. There is room for a good size slice of cake along with the sandwich
I managed to fit a yogurt in there however due to the shapes of different yogurts this wont always be possible.

I received a leaflet with my box stating the sizes of all the boxes in this range. I noticed the sizes for the slimline quaddie are different than those listed within the online description.

I have listed the sizes for the slimline quaddie as per the leaflet as it may help

    Lunchbox
    Length - 230mm
    Width - 162mm
    Height - 96mm

Drinks bottle - Volume is not stated. I measured it as just over 250ml!!

Good price, I hope it lasts!!

I bought one lunchbox each for my 9 yr old daughter and son who's 7. I really like the concept of having the little compartments as my aim was to get away from using disposable clingfilm/plastic bags each day, and I thought that I could put sandwiches in the large compartment and fruit, etc in smaller ones. I bought this in conjunction with the 'wrap n mat' reusable sandwich wrap. The downsides are that the compartments are only big enough to take cut up fruit, so you couldn't add an apple or other whole fruit larger than a small satsuma. The largest compartment fits sandwiches packed flat but can't take a roll or yoghurt. But that's fine, you find ways to make it work. My main problem has been that we've been using the quaddies for a couple of months now and they are almost completely broken. Bits have snapped off here and there and one of the hinges has fallen apart. Probably through being dropped I admit and maybe they're not designed with kids in mind. So my advice would be that this is a great product for an adult but if you're thinking about getting it for your kids then don't waste your money.

I bought quaddies for my 4 and 6 year olds as I was fed up with the zip-up insulated lunch bags that are so hard to clean. Both kids really love these - they enjoy the novelty of the separate sections. One handy thing is that you can fit a quaddie and one of the Sistema Twister Bottle, 330ml, Lime Green (or indeed any colour!) inside the zip-up insulated lunch bag, which solves the slight problem of the quaddie not having a carry handle. On the downside, the sections are all too small to fit a whole apple in. You could fit a smallish satsuma but most fruit would need to be cut into pieces. This isn't a problem for me as my son tends to eat more fruit when it's chopped up. I don't think you could really wash a quaddie in the dishwasher as it's a very cumbersome shape with all of the separate lids open. However, it's great to have a lunch box that you can submerge in the washing up bowl...unlike those soft ones that get gunky crumbs stuck in the seams and are useless once the lining gets the slightest split in it (rant rant grrr!) I wouldn't trust my younger child with the screw-top drink bottle that is provided with the quaddie, but you can use the drink bottle section either for more food or a small ice pack. In short, I'm impressed and would recommend quaddies.

Long days are almost everyday for me just now.. leaving home at 8am and not often making it back until 9pm. I was hoping to use this to separate my lunch from a snack and a light dinner. Unfortunately the bottom of the box is so shall even a roll gets squashed.. you cant fit in any fruit that isn't slices small and if you do you better watch out for leakage! First day with my quaddie and i ruined the work i was working on when the dressing from my salad managed to leak everywhere. The clips seem robust which would be great IF the hinges of the box were sealed. Not the most versitile product. Pretty disappointed.

I bought 2 of these lunch boxes for both of my daughters after they spotted a friend of theirs had the pink version. It's absolutely ideal for packed lunches. The separate compartments work well. The bottom compartment can fit a round of sandwiches and a packet of crisps without them being squashed. The upper compartments are great for fruit and biscuits. Then there's the water/juice bottle that fits into the other upper compartment, which is great. It all comes apart very easily and is dishwasher proof (on the top shelf). My kids love them. I think it's the novelty value of having the different compartments, and the boxes always come back empty, no matter how much fruit I sneak in! I would definitely recommend them!
