Siren Song [Kindle Edition]

I won't go into the details of the plot - the previous reviewer has done that. This book is a fun read; I loved the character of Lexi - the wigs and outfits amused me and her relationship with her flatmates was great, she certainly lives life to the full.

I found the reason of why she was a different type of Siren to her sisters not well explained, but in the long-term it didn't effect my enjoyment of the book. The sex scenes with the male lead were steamy and well-written, without being pornographic.

If you're looking for a light, mildly amusing and fun read, give this one a go.

I really enjoyed this book - for a freebie it was well written,few typos or grammar errors and had an enjoyable and believable storyline, emotional parts that tug at heartstrings and some hot and steamy sex scenes.....

Lexi comes from a family of Sirens - those who sing others into loving them, but Lexi being the eternal virgin her family think the Gift has bypassed her until suddenly they wonder if shes one of the rare type who have One True Love... and is Duncan that man. He's her new boss and an alpha werewolf but from the start they can't keep apart the attraction is so strong. I like the way each time we feel this is going to be It for Lexi something happens to interrupt their lovemaking. Lexi feels angst at the thought it may be her Gift as a siren that attracts Duncan rather than her as a person - i can empathise for that - it would be horrible - especially when she finds out one of her sisters husbands is in that position and its not a happy marriage. Duncan is afraid to get too close to her as if his Wolf side takes over and she gets bitten she could die (death thoughts to most romance!!)and thinks he needs a wolf mate though he's not attarcted to any in the pack enough that way, so they are both attracted beyond normal control and yet trying (and mostly failing) very hard to hold out against it.
its a bittersweet romance but with a HEA to make you feel good. after all thats why we read, escapism and happy factor - well me anyway!
its a bargain as a freebie and i'd happily have paid a couple of quid for it. Its certainly one i'd read again

OMG This book was completely amazing! A MUST READ!!!!!!!

I loved it and read it with in 24hr as i couldn't put it down and i will have to read it again and again.

The sexual tension between Lexi and Duncan are steamy and hot!

Lexi, a column writer for a magazine, meets Duncan and is instanly attracted to him and has sexual desires for him. Still a virgin, her sexual desires are stirred when she looks in his eyes, she knows there is something about him that she craves, needs and feels addicted to him, she wants him and won't stop till she's got him.

Duncan feels the same when he meets Lex. Just the though of her gives him an erection. He feels possessive over her and wants her, but he is also aware that he is a wolf and doesn't want to let the beast take over and claim her and hurt her. As one bite to a human could kill, as his kind have never been able to change a human without heartache and pain from the loss of loosing a loved one! At war with himself and the wolf, he trie,s to fight his desire for Lexi.

Lexi later finds out that she is a Siren and is learning what that mean. She is also worried that it's because of this gift that she feels she put a spell on Duncan and that's why he wants her too and knows that she is also at risk of heartache and pain.

The book is beautifully written, both from Lexi and Duncans perspective. A.C. Warneke has a new fan and look forward to more stories like this!
