Then his estranged wife is found dead - and Nick realises that an unknown enemy is stalking him...

"Occasionally brutal, but very readable... this writer seems to me to have real potential. I look forward to his next book." Martin Edwards, TANGLED WEB

"Sins of the Father is a wonderful, exciting read full of twists and turns... This is a sterling effort from a new face on the crime scene."
Chris Simmons, CRIMESQUAD

"Sins of the Father is a rattling good read... a writer to watch for sure."
Sharon Wheeler, REVIEWING THE EVIDENCE

Praise for David Harrison (writing under the name TOM BALE):
"What truly sells SKIN AND BONES is Bale's almost cinematic storytelling style, along the lines of what Lee Child does with his Jack Reacher series."
Jim Winter, JANUARY MAGAZINE

Holiday Reading. 17 July 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Switch the phone off, ignore the door bell, and immerse yourself in the birth of a brilliant new author. This book is well researched, and as a result very readable and believable. From the 1st Chapter until the last this is a page turning experience not to be missed.

I think that this author has a great eye for detail, and does his homework, before committing pen to paper. Writing about something that you have knowledge of is obviously the key to success. Keep them coming David. (Also writes under the name Tom Bale..every bit as good).

With two murders, some child abuse and a frisson of lesbian activity by chapter four, this debut novel from David Harrison certainly crackles along at a fair old pace. Set in Brighton and the countryside of Sussex, you barely have time to tick off the tourist spots as each scene speeds you along the many plot threads. Harrison obviously knows his genre and follows the conventions of crime thrillers with all the gusto and boldness you would expect from a new writer. Could it be he has discovered a new detective hero amongst the dog-eared files of suspect insurance claims? I look forward to reading his second novel.

Great Book... 24 April 2006
Format:Paperback
Although the thought of the word Insurance may cause you to recoil due to the sterotypical images of this genre be assured this book is definately a far cry from that image! It's charactors are well developed and the story inherent within is believable and it soon becomes a cant put down book. It sits firmly in the crime genre and holds many twists and turns leaving the reader wanting to find out more. A fantastic debut novel and I hope the author intends to write more.
