Format:Audio CD
An excellent album, but to get the best out of it, put it on your stereo in your car and drive around. this is music made for driving and to be heard live. Same with the 59 sound and american slang, each album brimming with fast paced, sing out loud songs.

i like the gaslight anthem a lot and this is a good album, a bit more of a raw, old sound but the sound of the band is great. the songs are full of passion and the singers voice is awesome.

Format:Audio CD
I only got into The Gaslight Anthem when they played in the UK in 2009 at the same gigs as Bruce Springsteen. They are a quality band who have been around for a while but who are just making a real name for themselves in the UK. Love this CD and have bought a couple of others too as i'm now a real fan.

wow!!!!!!!
Seen these guys at reading last year, they were awesome live. amazed that they sound as good on vinyl (or whatever cd's are made of). for a first album it is anabsolute blinder. Read more
