4.0 out of 5 stars Freddie scott 24 Aug 2012

The guy has a voice of pure gold, this is his Colpix work from the early 1960's. Worth it for hey girl and where does love go alone. Both songs written by King/Goffin and recorded at the brill building in New York.

2.0 out of 5 stars Freddie Scott Sings 2 Aug 2008
By Arthur W. Jackson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
With all due respect to the late Mr. Scott, the "Collectables Record Corp." did a, somewhat, fair job of re-recording his signature songs of "Hey Girl & I Got A Women"! His Hey Girl track lacks the dynamic sound quality that I remember the first time I heard it on my parent's AM radio back in 1963! In my opinion, all the songs need to be "digitally remastered" to bring out the great voice of "Freddie Scott"!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD! 24 April 2008

I purchased the CD for "Hey Girl", one of my favorites. However, there's some really good stuff on here. If you like songs from the early to mid 60s, I think you'll be pleased with this Freddie Scott CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly as expected 21 Sep 2012

The original Hey Girl is just a great, great song! Even the wonderful & talented Righteous Brothers couldn't do it better. Its getting harder & harder to find the old soul, original rock n roll, and Motown classics, so when you do and they are not remastered, who cares. At least they are being made available and I enjoy them. Same as when you played them on the old 45 record players. Hail to those who find and/or continue to make music classics available on CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars MY PURCHASE - HEY GIRL 13 Nov 2013
By Dina McKinney - Published on Amazon.com

I had been looking for this song - Hey Girl and couldn't remember who sang it, I heard Micheal McDonald sing it and reference Freddie Scott, whom I didn't remember. But it was the original one that I wanted. So I am again - A HAPPY CAMPER
WITH AMAZON. THANKS DINA
