Creedence Clearwater Revival were one of the definitive bands of the late 1960s, creating iconic hit singles along the way. "Bad Moon Rising", "Suzie Q", "Green River" and "I Put A Spell On You" are jukebox staples to this day on both sides of the Atlantic. The Singles Collection is a deluxe package which brings together on two CDs and a DVD including all of the band’s greatest moments. The package comes in a deluxe slipcase, along with a poster of original album artwork and extensive liner notes. The bonus DVD features four music videos.

Creedence Clearwater Revival were one of the key bands that came along and really captured the mood of a generation of music lovers far and wide. Having the chance to own newly pressed vinyl was a huge excitement for their original audience in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and for many fans remains so today. This boxset contains 15 double-sided seven-inch singles with dinked large centre holes, each in its own very attractive thin card picture sleeve. These are housed in a maroon coloured thick card outer box with removable lid. There is also a 40-page seven-inch square booklet, with lots of superb retro imagery including sleeve art and facsimiles of chart listings, plus enough information to set the collection and the band into context. If you want more information in this day and age, usually you can fairly easily find it online. The booklet identifies the environmentally responsible ways used to create the product. There is an orange sticker placed onto the shrinkwrap which summarises the content, plus a loose sheet under the shrinkwrap on the reverse face that itemises the content in more detail.
At the time of writing, the boxset is widely available, but there are already huge discrepancies in asking prices from different sellers. While I strongly prefer the sound of vinyl for its playback qualities, far more of my collection is now on CD and the number of my downloads is also creeping ever-upwards. Part of my assessment for what I'm willing to pay is in recognising that some things will get frequently played, while others may well sit unplayed for months on end. This music still has 'the feel good factor' after all these years. Moreover, it doesn't seem dated at all to me. The mp3 sound quality helps a good deal.

Loved the music great collection of songs and good value unfortunately the Amazon MP3 downloader would not let me download it to my iPod. Instead the Amazon site insisted on making me open up the cloud player from which I still could not download my purchase because everytime I clicked the download button the site insisted on making me reinstall the Amazon MP3 downloader but then refused point blank to acknowledge it had been installed (No Active download button). You know as a customer who has purchased a product I expect to be able to take possession of said product and I also expect to be given a choice about how I download. It seems I am being allowed neither
