I bought this album after I had heard the song, Single White Female. I had no idea who this woman was and was extemely pleased to hear her other songs. She has a wonderful huskiness to her voice and that all important texan 'twang' that I love about country music.
I was pleased to see that she actually wrote some of her own material too. Buy this album and you won't be disappointed.

Whether your sitting at home all alone, out for a drive in the car or cuddling up to a loved one - this album is perfect. One of the older, newer stars of Country Music, virtually unknown until this album came out - its arguable that previous albums are better, indeed i would expect a greatest hits to feature more of her older material - this album however, unlike the others, i can sit down a listen to from start to finish - without skipping a track - something i cant do with most albums ive got, including all previous albums. Catchy, meaningful lyrics, great music. May never get the recognition of other coutry "stars" in the UK (like Shania Twain or Leann Rimes) - but a great album from start to finish. Once listened to, you`ll find it hard to take out the CD player (especially if you have a multi-disc)...

If you do not listen to any other country album this year, don't miss this corker of an album. Emotively delivered, this album is one brilliant song after another. If "The Love That We Lost" doesn't make you cry you aren't human ! Simply the best country album this year !
